What is the Stratux Dongle and who is it for?

The Stratux Dongle is a compact, standalone transmit-only (TX) beacon priced at €99. It broadcasts your own position so other traffic and ground stations can see you. It does not receive or display other aircraft. It's ideal as a low-cost 'be seen' device for gliders, paragliders and ultralights, or as a transmitter alongside a separate receiver/EFB.

Which protocols can the Stratux Dongle transmit, and can it switch between them?

The Stratux Dongle transmits one mode at a time: either OGN/ADS-L/FANET/PAW, or FLARM/FANET. You select the active protocol in firmware. See our T-Motion & protocol-switching guide for how to switch. It cannot transmit FLARM and OGN simultaneously; for simultaneous multi-protocol transmission choose the Stratux Dual Pro.

Does the Stratux Dongle receive traffic or include AHRS?

No. The Stratux Dongle is transmit-only. It broadcasts your position but does not receive or display other traffic, and it has no AHRS or pressure sensor. If you want to see surrounding traffic, choose the Standard Stratux (receive-only, €439+) or the Stratux Pro / Dual Pro (receive plus transmit).
