Install a barometric altitude sensor for accurate altitude reporting
Adding a BMP280 or BME280 pressure sensor to your T-Beam provides accurate barometric altitude data for OGN transmission, improving collision avoidance accuracy.
Wiring (I2C)
BMP280 VCC → T-Beam 3.3V
BMP280 GND → T-Beam GND
BMP280 SDA → T-Beam GPIO 21
BMP280 SCL → T-Beam GPIO 22

Solder Connections
Connect the BMP280 to the T-Beam I2C pins as shown above.

Enable in Firmware
The OGN-Tracker firmware auto-detects the sensor on I2C bus.

Check the device status page to confirm altitude readings.
