What is the difference between RX and TX in Stratux?

RX (Receive) means your Stratux can see other aircraft. TX (Transmit) means other aircraft can see you. A receive-only Stratux provides traffic awareness but won't broadcast your position. Adding TX capability (T-Beam, T-Motion, or FLARM Dongle) makes you visible to other pilots using FLARM or OGN.

Which TX module should I choose?

T-Beam 868MHz is recommended for most users – it offers the best performance and integrates well with Stratux Pro/Dual Pro cases. SoftRF T-Motion is more compact. FLARM Dongle Edition is ideal if you want a standalone solution without modifying your existing Stratux.

Is transmission capability legal for VFR flights?

OGN and FLARM transmission is legal and encouraged for VFR flights in Europe. It increases your visibility to other aircraft and is particularly important for gliders, ultralights, and operations near gliding clubs. Check your national regulations for specific requirements.
