A new firmware version for Stratux Europe has been released by @b3nn0. The eu026 release brings several improvements and bug fixes to the European edition of Stratux.

The latest firmware can be downloaded from the official Stratux Europe GitHub repository:
- EU Version: For European users (868MHz OGN/FLARM support)
- US Version: For American users (978MHz UAT support)

Installation Instructions
Fresh Installation
1. Download the eu026 image file
2. Prepare a microSD card (8GB minimum, 16GB recommended)
3. Flash using balenaEtcher or Win32DiskImager:
- Select the downloaded .img file
- Select your SD card
- Click Write/Flash
4. Insert the SD card into your Raspberry Pi
5. Power on and wait for first boot to complete
Upgrade from Previous Version
If you're running eu025 or earlier:
1. Download the .sh update file (if available)
2. Connect to Stratux WiFi
3. Open http://192.168.10.1
4. Navigate to Settings → Developer
5. Upload and apply the update file
6. Reboot when prompted
Note: Major version upgrades may require a full SD card re-flash.
Hardware Requirements
- Raspberry Pi 3B, 3B+, or 4
- Compatible SDR dongles (RTL-SDR, NooElec)
- GPS module (USB or serial)
- Optional: AHRS sensor (GY-91 or similar)
- microSD card
- Power supply (5V, 2.5A minimum)
First Boot Configuration
After installation:
1. Connect to "stratux" WiFi network
2. Open http://192.168.10.1 in your browser
3. Configure your hardware settings:
- Enable GPS
- Configure SDR frequencies (1090MHz, 868MHz/978MHz)
- Enable AHRS if installed
4. Set your WiFi password for security
5. Test with your EFB app
Known Issues
- GPS communication issues with T-Motion/T-Beam (see separate article for fix)
- Some GPS modules may need manual baud rate configuration
